1. It’s being reported that the projected first-week sales for Justin Timberlake’s new album, “20/20 Experience,” are inching toward the one million mark. If Timberlake’s record goes platinum in its first week, it “would become only the 19th album to do so since Soundscan started tracking music sales in 1991.” Taylor Swift’s “Red” was the last album to sell a million copies in its first week of release. 2. Tilda Swinton, when not giving moving speeches about David Bowie, is taking naps in a glass box in the atrium of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The previous sentence would sound weird if we were talking about anybody but Tilda Swinton. Her surprise visit to the museum is part of an art installation called “The Maybe,” which she first performed in 1995 at London’s Serpentine Gallery. [Hollywood Reporter]
3. More news in the Jay Leno/NBC feud. Leno, the current host of “The Tonight Show,” has continued to crack jokes directed at the network during his show’s opening monologue, including references about NBC stabbing him in the back. Jimmy Fallon, who many are saying is being tapped as Leno’s replacement, has remained silent on the whole ordeal. Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that current “Saturday Night Live” cast member Seth Myers may possibly replace Fallon when the late night switch happens. [AP/New York Post]
4. Charlie Sheen’s FX comedy “Anger Management,” which secured an unheard of 90-episode order from the network, has dropped considerably in the ratings. When FX made the decision to commit to the show, it was averaging 3 million viewers; the most recent episode averaged 850,000. Maybe this is why they convinced Lindsay Lohan to make a cameo in an upcoming episode? [Artsbeat]
5. Listen to a remix of British duo AlunaGeorge’s “Attracting Flies,” by “Harlem Shake” creator Baauer. The new version stays pretty close to the original, adding a few bass-heavy drops, stripping the original’s retro break-beat backdrop. [Stereogum]
